During the Board & Train program your puppy/dog will be living with the head trainer, Lauren, in her home and traveling to and from training locations.

We do not offer board and train options for aggressive behavior. If this is something you need, reach out and we can refer you to someone who offers these services.

All board & train options require a deposit prior to drop off.

Little Buddies-Puppy Program

This program Is for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months. Our goal is to provide your young dog with an extraordinary foundation. All puppies go home with a training cot, leash, and puppy toy.

The program covers:

-Sit

-Down

-Wait for food/wait at doors

-Foundations for recall

-Confidence with loose leash

-Exposure to sights, sounds, surfaces, odd objects

-Socialization with people & other dogs

-Handler focus/eye contact

-Crate training

-Housebreaking

Little buddies includes one private 1 hour lesson at pick up & two additional 1 hour privates when owner chooses. Access to trainer via email and phone call for a 3 month period following program. Discounted rates on future board and train programs.

We offer two lengths of this board and train, 2 weeks and 4 weeks.

For Dogs 6 Months & Older

Bigger Buddies - Obedience Program

This program is offered in 3 week, 4 week, or 5 week lengths of time. This program is not only a training boot camp, but a super fun experience for your dog as they will get a larger amount of playtime with both trainer and playgroups.

The length of the program does determine your results. All dogs go home with a training collar, training cot, toy, and leash.

This board and train does require an in home evaluation prior to booking free of charge. Please reach out to us to book.

Currently working on setting up a private Facebook group to add as a perk to my board and train programs. Clients will be able to join and post videos for troubleshooting issues.

Board & Trains are non-refundable. If you need to pick a dog up early remainder of balance can be transferred to other services.

These programs are for dogs that are learning new skills, not for dogs that need behavioral modification. Dogs in this program should not exhibit any behavioral problems. Please check out our day train for behavioral modification if you are looking for help troubleshooting behavioral problems.

For all of these programs, drop off times are between 7-9am & pickup times are from 5-7pm.

During regular day train programs, we can enroll up to 2 dogs per program per day in order to ensure that each dog gets adequate time training.

In our day train environment the dogs spend time going on leash walks, one on one training, monitored playtime, group training, and crated naptime. While our primary focus is on learning obedience, we do allow the dogs playtime and nap time during training breaks. Crated nap time is in a separate calm environment to ensure dogs get rest between activities as well as making sure each dog gets adequate training time with the trainer.

Buddies Tiny Voyagers

This program is for young puppies ages 8-16 weeks old. This is an 8 session bundle that includes 4 mini private lessons. This program runs every Monday & Wednesday for 4 consecutive weeks. The mini lessons will be on Wednesday nights at pick up. These lessons are 20 minutes each and are provided on a first come first served basis. Clients will be able to select their mini lesson time frame at drop off every Wednesday morning.

Puppies must be between the ages of 8-16 weeks at start date of program.

This is a foundation program. Our goal is to focus on creating well rounded dogs that are confident, well mannered, socialized, and are ready to learn and bond with their owners.

During this program, your puppy will learn foundations to luring, confidence building, exposure to sights, sounds & surfaces, socialization with other dogs and people, and desensitizing basic handling(nail trimming, collar grabs, grooming, putting on a leash, etc.) Commands include introduction to sit, down, and heel positioning.

This program does not include any leash walking.

Buddies Passport To Success

This program is designed for the teenage years of a dog, otherwise known as the velociraptor period. This program is for dogs 6 months to two-years-old.

This is a 15 session program with 5 mini private lessons. This program meets for 5 consecutive weeks and will have one 1 hour in home lesson following completion of this program. When booking you will have an option to choose your 3 days a week. We meet M-Th.

This program is designed for dogs 6 months to 2 years old. We cater this boot camp style training to young dogs that are motivated and ready to go in full force and ready to learn.

In the beginning of this program we spend time setting a foundation for your dog and eventually move on to add in distance and duration as well as reliability around distractions and real life scenarios. If your dog already has a foundation from our other programs we will jump right into adding distractions and furthering their skill level. During this program we will be putting a lot of focus on impulse control & real life scenarios.

All mini private lessons will be at pickup on your dogs last day of the week between 4-7pm. You will choose your lesson timeframe at drop-off on day of lesson. These lessons are first come first served.

This program is not designed for reactive or fearful dogs or any other behavioral concerns. Please see behavioral modification section or reach out to us.

Buddies Canine College

This day train program is designed for dogs that are social adult dogs over the age of 2 years old.

This program runs for 2 consecutive weeks M-Th with 2 mini private lessons on each Thursday at pickup. You will also receive a 1 hour in home private lesson following completion of the program.

This program is designed as a fast paced obedience program for adult dogs who have the brain power to conquer more in a shorter period of time.

We focus on leash walking, sit, down, come, place, impulse control, and distractions. We will start working on heel positioning & duration stay.

Cost: $1000

All of our Behavioral Modification Day Trains run on an opposing schedule to our regular day train programs. Our main goal as trainers is for you and your dog to have the best outcome possible and we want you to end our programs with success. We run our schedule this way so your behavioral concerns can have more hands on deck & less dogs. We hope you understand. Nervous Buddies

Have a fearful dog? Well this program is designed for you! You might hear trainers talk about environmental training, well that is how we teach nervous dogs to gain more confidence in new environments!

This program is 12 sessions 4 times per week M-Th for a total of 12 days of training. This program is not rushed through. We as trainers want to build a bond with your dog & expose them to new things when they are ready. Rushing this can have a very negative impact on your dog’s progress. We will have weekly private lessons with you in order to go over ways to keep improving at home as well as show you all the progress your dog is making. This program can be repeated if you need to. If your dog is reactive this is not the program for you. For reactivity please see the next program in this section.

Reactive Buddies

Have a dog that lunges, barks, pulls at the leash, and generally struggles with various stimuli in the world? This program is for you!

Our goal during this program is to teach the client what might be triggering the dog, how to read a dog’s body language, and how to read your environment to set your dog up for success.

Reactivity in dog’s is not simple. It is a very complex scenario that can present for a variety of different reasons.

Through consistency and desensitization we can teach the dog how to handle the stimuli that triggers them.

This program is designed to teach your dog a foundation in training and work on neutrality on leash while handling a variety of different stimuli.

This program runs for 5 consecutive weeks with 3 sessions per week and 5 mini private lessons as well as one 1 hour private with trainer at pickup and two 1 hour follow up lessons in home. This program runs from M-W with mini lessons being held on Wednesday.

Cost: $2000

Are you and your family going on vacation or just need a safe place for your pets to stay for an extended stay? Our boarding program is for you. We offer regular boarding as well as boarding with optional add ons for an additional cost. We can accomodate dogs with special needs. Please let us know at time of booking if you have any special needs for your pup. Read below for everything we offer.

Regular boarding - $30 a day

Boarding with add ons is available:

Dog sport sessions: Choose between disc, agility, or fastcat. $65 per day

We offer swimming time during the summer between May-October: $50 per day

Nail trim: additional $25 added to your boarding total cost

Bath/blowout: additional $35 added to your boarding total cost

All of our group classes will currently be held at Legion Dog & Cat Supply located off of Exit 1 in Clarksville. All of our group class opportunities will be posted periodically throughout the year and will cost $150 per 6 week group class. Classes are limited to 6 dogs to make sure we have adequate space and time for each dog.

BASIC OBEDIENCE - 6 spots available

Cost: $150. This class is for dogs 6 months or older that are looking for basic obedience skills. This class is not for reactive, aggressive, or nervous dogs. For behavioral modification programs please see board and train & day train options.
